Black Tiger Belgium’s annual Fundraising Seminar focused on the benefits of virtual events to connect with non profit audiences. The medium matured across the world during the pandemic, but these digital events are definitely here to stay. Key note speaker Nikki Bell, UK based fundraising guru, hosted over 1000 events for 400+ charities since 2019.
Live virtual events provide the biggest opportunity for charities when used as engagement and networking opportunities with staff and supporters. According to the study conducted by Everywhere+ more money was raised, stewardship was improved, and 74% of charities increased social media engagement.
The vast majority of charities that benefited will continue to use live virtual events in their fundraising mix.
