Brussels, 21 November 2023 – 2 and a half years after the takeover of Bisnode by the Black Tiger group, the latter is entering a phase of massive investment to meet customer expectations in the Belgian market and manage its European growth.
The Black Tiger group has invested over €25 million in its technology, specialized in Big Data, the Master Data Platform.
The latter covers all the challenges associated with Big Data from end to end. The subject is eminently technological and abrupt, whereas it should only serve the interests of business teams. The Black Tiger group has thus succeeded in abstracting all the technological difficulties from Big Data to deliver only the economic added value dedicated to the business.
Black Tiger’s technology deals specifically with the ingestion of all types of data, from Data Quality to international level, Data Virtualization, creation of Datalake / Datawarehouse enabling the storage and access to all the data of an Information System navigating between the legacy and the new world, a Big Data querying system and a natively embedded GDPR compliance module.
The Master Data Platform is a modular technology that enables each of our customers to build THEIR own unique Master Data Platform.

Black Tiger is looking to recruit the best data and technology talent in Belgium. It has therefore strengthened its organization by recruiting Isabelle Lagae as Partnership Director and Stéphane Theys as VP Customer & Market Strategy.
After 10 years working for bpost as an expert in Data and related products, Isabelle is delighted to be joining the Black Tiger group, bringing her Data expertise to the selection and management of our partners, as well as her keen eye for the application and GDPR compliance.
Stéphane, a specialist in the software sector, has joined the Black Tiger group to bring all his experience and expertise to address the market and satisfy the customer base. Having worked with some of the biggest names in the software world (including Microsoft, Oracle, Omada and Orange), Stéphane was impressed by Black Tiger’s level of technology. The collaboration between Stéphane and Black Tiger aims to propel the group to the top of the Data technology players in Europe.
In addition, further technological and commercial recruitment is underway to give the group the resources it needs to meet customer requirements.
We would also like to thank Jean-Philippe Guédon who, after occupying the position of Black Tiger Belgium’s CEO in 2023, has agreed to take on other challenges for the group at international level.
